Welcome! My name is Max. I am currently a graduate student doing my master's in electrical engineering at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). During my time as a full-time graduate student, I was a part-time teaching assistant for computer engineering classes and labs, as well as a part-time intern for Pololu Robotics and Electronics here in Las Vegas, NV. Currently, I am a part-time research assistant working under Dr. Roman Shugayev doing research in electromagnetics and quantum sensing, particularly working with nitrogen-vacancy (NV) centers in nanodiamonds through optically detected magnetic resonance (ODMR). My interests lie in electronics, electromagnetics, quantum sensing, embedded systems, machine learning, and biomedical devices. Feel free to check out the links below for any of my academic work!
